PMI Counter Current Cooler is capable of reducing temperature of pellet form about 80c to about 3c above ambient. The cooler works on the principal of blower air trough a columns of hot & moist pellet and in the process evaporating the moisture leading to cooling. The quantity of the air, the column of pellets and the residence time will govern the cooling effect.lt is important to cool the pellets to the core and not only on the surface. The counter current cooler is a counter current cooler where the air current is "counter" or opposite to the direction of flow of pellets. The counter current cooler consists primarily of
